MulticoreWare and Autoware Foundation partner to introduce AI-based BEV (Bird’s Eye View) modules to the Autoware perception stack

TOKYO: MulticoreWare has partnered with the Autoware Foundation to enhance autonomous driving capabilities by integrating AI-powered Bird’s Eye View (BEV) modules into the Autoware perception stack. This collaboration focuses on optimizing BEV-based Vision Transformers like BEV-Former and BEV-SegFormer for real-time inference on automotive systems, as well as advancing multi-camera and multi-modal fusion techniques. By leveraging its expertise in AI camera perception and sensor fusion, MulticoreWare aims to improve the accuracy and scalability of ADAS and autonomous systems. This partnership will help drive the development of safer, more efficient, and practical solutions for the future of autonomous vehicles.
