Cloud Solution Architect – Open Stack

Job Title: Cloud Solution Architect - OpenStack

Job Location: Chennai

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience: 6+ years

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of private cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and design cloud solutions based on open-source tools like OpenStack.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring successful delivery of cloud solutions.
  • Provide pre-sales support by participating in client meetings and helping to shape cloud solution proposals.
  • Perform cloud architecture assessments and make recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing, especially in the OpenStack ecosystem.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define and communicate cloud architecture strategies and roadmaps.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Total Exp of 6+ years with Minimum of 3 years as a Cloud Solution Architect, with a focus on OpenStack.
  • Deep understanding & work experience on the OpenStack ecosystem (Neutron, Ironic, Cinder, Keystone, etc.)
  • Strong expertise and understanding of Bare Metal instances, Virtualization & Orchestration using Open-Source tools.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenStack networking and storage components.
  • Working Knowledge of private clouds for AI or HPC workloads is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and lead architectural discussions.
  • Contribution to the OpenStack community will be a plus.
